Workshop: Wednesday, October 6th beginning at
1:00 p.m. in Franks Hall, Room 120. This
workshop will introduce students to the life-long process of career management.
It all begins now with learning about self-assessment, exploring careers, and
beginning the job search. Co-curricular credit will be available.
Optimal Resume, Cover
Letter, and Interview Workshop:
Wednesday, October 20th from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. in Franks Hall, Room 120. Earn co-curricular credit. Learn to design a resume and cover letter
with Optimal Resume, a new online resume design program. Also, learn to enhance interviewing skills
with the new online interview training program.
This workshop will be offered
throughout the semester. Please watch

Government Employment Session: Thursday, October
21st from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. in Franks Hall, Room 120. Earn 1 hour of co-curricular credit. Learn to complete the steps necessary to

Veteran’s Remembrance Career Day: Thursday, November 11th at 2:00 p.m. in Chisholm, Franks
Hall. Honor and celebrate Veteran’s Day
with TU faculty, staff, students and the local area community members who have served in
one of the branches of the US Armed Forces. Learn about career plans, life experiences,
and professional connections from honorary individuals. Co-curricular credit will be available. This
event is open to the public.
Ohio Criminal Justice
Educational Council (OCCJE) Criminal Justice Career Fair: Date TBA from 10:00
a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Earn co-curricular credit.
Plan to attend the CJ Career Fair to learn about full-time, part-time,
and internship employment opportunities and network with recruiting
professionals. This year, the career
fair will be held at the University of Findlay located in Findlay, Ohio. The career fair is open to all majors.
Business Etiquette
Seminar: Sunday, November 14th
at 6:00 p.m. in Osceola Theatre, Gillmor Student Center. Earn co-curricular credit of 3 hours. Please join President and Mrs. Paul Marion
for an entertaining evening of learning table etiquette, social grace, and
interview dining skills.
