National Security Education Program

The National Security Education Program provides a unique funding opportunity for U.S. students to study world wide regions critical to US interests ( Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East).  The countries of Canada, Western  Europe, Australia, and New Zealand are excluded.

The American Council of the Blind of Ohio

$2,000 Max Edelman Scholarship and $2,000 David Newmeyer Scholarship.  Both of these scholarships are offered to a legally blind undergraduate student in any field of study.

$2,500 Joann Fischer Scholarship.  Offered to a legally blind graduate student in any field of study.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:  be an Ohio resident or attend an Ohio school in a two-year or more post secondary degree program, be legally blind, have a 3.0 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale and be willing to attend the 2010 ACB-Ohio convention's Saturday workshops and Sunday morning breakfast at which scholarships will be awarded.
Past scholarship recipients may reapply.  A current scholarship application must be completed each year to be considered.  The degree of financial need is not the sole determinant in the selection process.  Completed applications are to be postmarked no later than August 1, 2010.  The application may be downloaded at www:acbohio.org

Tiffin University Scholarships for the Graduate Programs:

Fraternal Order of Police, FOP Scholarship
New students enrolled in any Tiffin University graduate program will receive a Fraternal Order of Police scholarship of $250 per credit hour.
 
Military Scholarship
A serving member of the armed forces, including the Armed Forces Reserve and National Guard, will be eligible to receive a $250 per credit hour scholarship from Tiffin University.
 
*Please note: Students are only eligible to receive one scholarship.
